Not everyone needs a cleaner every week. Sometimes there is simply a specific moment: the builders have finished and there is dust in places you did not know existed, family are arriving on Friday, or you have just got the keys and want the property properly clean before anything of yours goes into it.
A one-off clean is scoped entirely around that moment. We agree what needs doing, quote it as a job rather than an hourly rate, and complete it in a single visit wherever possible.
There is nothing to sign and no schedule to cancel afterwards. If you later decide you would like us regularly, that is a separate and easy conversation.
Ideal for
- After building work, decorating or a loft conversion
- Before moving in, or after moving out of a property you own
- Spring cleans and pre-Christmas resets
- After a party, a wake, a let or a house full of guests
- Trying us out before committing to a regular schedule
How it is priced
One-off cleans are quoted as a fixed price per job against an agreed task list. Regular schedules are priced more keenly, so tell us if you are considering ongoing visits.
What is included
What a one-off clean actually covers
This is the checklist your quote is written against. If it is on the list, it is our responsibility.
Scoped to your priorities
- You tell us what matters: whole property, or just the kitchen and bathrooms
- We agree a written task list before quoting
- Time and team size allocated to complete it in one visit
- Nothing outside the list is charged for without asking you first
Post-build & post-decoration
- Fine construction and plaster dust removed from all surfaces
- Paint specks and adhesive residue removed from glass and fittings
- Window frames, sills and tracks cleared of dust and debris
- Floors cleaned repeatedly, because settling dust needs more than one pass
Spring clean & reset
- High-level dusting, cobwebs, pelmets and tops of wardrobes
- Inside cupboards and wardrobes on request
- Limescale treatment in kitchens and bathrooms
- Skirting, doors, frames, switches and radiators
After hosting or an event
- Kitchen fully reset including hob, oven front and surfaces
- Glassware and crockery cleared, dishwasher cycles run
- Waste and recycling removed to your bins
- Reception rooms, floors and bathrooms returned to normal
How it works
Booking one-off cleaning
Four steps, no sales process, and a written scope before anyone picks up a cloth.
- 1
Tell us the occasion
Post-build dust and a pre-Christmas reset are different jobs. Knowing the reason tells us what to prioritise and what equipment to bring.
- 2
A written list and a fixed price
We confirm the tasks in writing and quote the job, not an open-ended hourly rate, so you know the cost before we arrive.
- 3
One visit where possible
We allocate enough cleaners to finish in a single visit. For heavy post-build work we will tell you honestly if two visits are the realistic answer.
- 4
Check it over with us
We walk the list with you at the end. No contract means our only interest is you being glad you called.
The difference
Why clients choose us for one-off cleaning
No contract, no commitment
One job, one price. Nothing recurring to remember to cancel afterwards.
Priced as a job
A fixed quote against a written list, so a difficult kitchen does not quietly turn into three extra billable hours.
Genuinely flexible timing
Evenings and weekends are available, which matters when you are working around builders, removals or a handover date.
A risk-free way to try us
Many of our regular domestic clients started with a single one-off clean. It is the easiest way to judge a cleaning company: by the result.
Questions
One-Off cleaning FAQs
The questions we are asked most about this service specifically.
It is quoted per job against the task list we agree, because a post-build clean and a tidy-up after guests are very different pieces of work. Send us the property details and what you need and we will quote, usually the same working day.
Often yes, particularly midweek. One-off work is where we have most flexibility, and we will tell you honestly what we can do rather than accepting a slot we cannot staff.
Regularly, and it is worth knowing what to expect: fine dust settles for days afterwards, so a post-build clean involves repeated passes on the same surfaces. For heavy work, two visits a few days apart give a far better result.
There is overlap, but a deep clean is a defined top-to-bottom specification including ovens, limescale and inside cupboards. A one-off clean is scoped to whatever you need on the day, which may be more or less than that.
Of course, and there is no pressure either way. If you would like to move onto a weekly, fortnightly or monthly schedule we will price it as a regular service, which works out more keenly than repeated one-off visits.
